The Interventional Radiology Tech Lead provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides shift leadership and support to the Imaging staff.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Two years of performing Interventional Rad Tech duties required
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• HS/GED required
• Associate's degree strongly preferred, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required
• Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
• Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
• ACLS through American Heart Association preferred

Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
