Job Summary:
Provides leadership and management for the trauma service at the facility to assure optimal care for injured patients while meeting regulatory requirements from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the American College of Surgeons. Responsible for daily operations of the trauma program and the achievement of standards related to quality care, patient satisfaction, and fiscally responsible care delivery.
In this role, the program manager will work closely with all levels of leadership including, facility, market and region to strategically develop and implement successful and growing trauma programs. The role also requires active participation in the facility and market outreach planning and implementation. The role shall also function as a key resource to our healthcare partners.

Education Requirement:
Masters degree required- MBA, H+MHA, or MSN
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Five years of clinical experience in trauma, emergency, and/or critical care of three years of trauma program experience.
Two years of previous leadership experience (Charge Nurse, ANM, Clinical Coordinator, or Nurse Manager role)
Experience with trauma registry and coding preferred
Project management or quality experience preferred
License/Certifications Requirement:
Valid RN license in state of employment active and unencumbered
BLS through American Heart Association
TNCC or ATCN required within 12 months of hire/transfer
TCRN required within 18 months of hire/transfer
36 hours of trauma related CE every three years required (Survey Cycle)

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
