$4.75/hr specialty differential applies.

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the Cardiac Cath/EP department. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associates. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides leadership and support to the staff acting as a direct supervisor and reference. Primarily responsible for the day to day operation of the lab including scheduling of both staff and patients, supply levels and availability, equipment and procedural room usage, and other tasks pertaining to operations.

Qualifications

 

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

 

Experience: 

 

  • Two years experience directly in Cath/EP lab with competencies in scrub and monitoring roles for Cardiac Cath and
    device implant.
  • Experience in EP Ablation cases preferred.
  • Previous experience procuring supplies and managing consignment levels.

 

Education: 

 

  • A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology also acceptable-required
  • Associate's Degree required within two years of hire (if Associate's or higher level degree is not already held)

 

License/Certifications: 

 

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of Hire
  • Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) required
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT required

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.

Schedule: full-time, including call requirements. 30 minute callback radius applies.
