As a Rehab Tech you will:

• Delegate direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians.
• Treatment set-up and take-down.
• Patient scheduling.
• Filing.
• Stocking supplies.
• Tracking data.
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous rehab experience in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

We're hiring a full-time Inpatient Rehab Tech for our Physical Therapy department. This role requires flexibility for variable weekday shifts (7:30 AM - 4 PM) to cover team PTO. There is a weekend requirement which requires (1 in 4 weeks) and a 3-year holiday rotation (1 summer, 1 winter).

Ideal candidates will have experience in healthcare, customer service, and direct patient care.

At St Francis Hospital – Interquest, our team-oriented therapy department consists of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologist, Rehab Technicians and a Manager.  We treat orthopedic post operative patients, general medical/surgical patients, and low to mid acuity intensive care/intermediate care patients.  As a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital with innovative technology, our focus is employee engagement to build connected teams and establish a culture of motivation, collaboration, and compassion.
