The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the Behavioral Health unit. The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

The Behavioral Health department at Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley is a compassionate and supportive haven for individuals seeking healing and respite. With 26 beds dedicated to our patient’s well-being, we offer a nurturing environment where every individual is treated with utmost care and dignity. Within our unit, we have 4 specialized high acuity beds, ensuring that those in need of intensive care receive the focused attention and comprehensive treatment they require. Additionally, our main unit consists of 22 beds, allowing us to cater to a diverse range of behavioral health needs.
Our friendly and empathetic staff members are the heart of our unit. They create a warm and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of safety and trust for our patients. Our team is comprised of experienced mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses and therapists, who collaboratively ensure comprehensive care.
