As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs.

 

Your primary Neurodiagnostic Technologist duties will involve:

  • The Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.
  • The Neurodiagnostic Technologist can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
  • Communication skills are essential for this position

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BLS issued from the American Heart Association 
  • 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required
  • EEG experience and or education highly preferred
  • Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied
    Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.

Schedule: days M-F 2 days/week

 

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
