Responsible for a continuum of treatment by providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education and training in activities in daily living under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Participates in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred. Ability to perform basic treatments of orthopedic, neurological, medical, and psychiatric patients. Basic splinting knowledge, preferred Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred Occupational Therapy Assistant (Department of Regulatory Agencies)

St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through-out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region’s referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952, St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.
