At St. Francis Hospital – Interquest, our 8 bed ICU/IMC unit cares for patients 16 years old and up. We have a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio for ICU and 1:3 for IMC. Our brand-new facility offers a stunning view and the opportunity to build a strong foundation of teamwork and innovation while redefining patient care and clinical efficiency. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

• Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:

• ICU RN Experience required (unit will care for both ICU and Intermediate Care acuity patients)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• BSN, preferred
• RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas as applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association certification required
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association certification required within six months of hire or transfer
  • NIHSS required within six months of hire or transfer
  • TNCC or TCAR required within six months of hire or transfer
    • Additional certifications required within a six-month timeframe eligible to be covered under department cost
• ANCC; National Nursing Certification ANCC approved is strongly preferred
• National Nursing Certification in Speciality Area preferred (CCRN or PCCN)
  • Credential: Nursing Spec

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
