Job Summary: The Enterprise Student Placement Coordinator is a registered professional nurse who demonstrates expertise in clinical nursing and a passion for ongoing support of clinical students, enhancing opportunities for clinical placement and optimizing relationships with colleges and universities to build the pipeline for future clinical nurses at Centura Health.
The Placement coordinator will coordinate with the Clinical Placement Specialists to ensure appropriate assignment of clinical opportunities and alignment with clinical goals. Ensures evaluation of site placements meet experience expectations for education partners and creates action plans to improve overall student and instructor experience at Centura Health.
This position reports centrally at the enterprise level to the Enterprise Director for Clinical Education.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Minimum Experience Requirements: Three years of clinical experience required.
Two years of staff development, academic teaching and /or project development coordination preferred
License/Certifications Requirement: BS in any of the following: Nursing, Respiratory,
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Pharmacy. A bachelor’s degree is not required if associate has a master's degree or greater in a related field of study.
Masters in Nursing, education, or other related graduate fieldof study preferred.
Clinical licensure as required to practice in state of employment (RN/RT/PT/OT/Pharmacy) required.
Nursing Specialty Certification preferred
