The Childcare Worker is responsible for supporting the Lead Teacher in each classroom. Supervise and attend to students needs as directed by the Lead Teacher. To assist with planning to help meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child. Attend in-services and/or trainings as required by licensing and CommonSpirit. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

 

  • Child development knowledge.
  • Excellent general health, mobility (including lifting, bending, stooping, reaching) and dexterity sufficient to work with young children, verbal ability to enhance language development in children and effectively
    communicates with parents.
  • Documentation of any experience in the care and supervision of four or more children under six years of age who are not related to the individual and ability to pass both Central Registry Inquiry and Colorado
  • Bureau of Investigation fingerprint check. Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint check is also required if employee has not lived in Colorado for a year
  • CPR
  • First Aid Certificate

 

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10
lbs. constantly

 

This Child Care worker role is fully benefifted.  Our center is open Monday through Friday.  This role would work 40 hours a week.   We are able to train but prefer applicants to have childcare experience.  We are able to help train individuals to be teacher-qualified as well.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $27.77 / hour
