This night-shift Registered Nurse (RN) in Durango assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. As a Float RN, you will optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. As a RN team member with Mercy Hospital, you will be joining a team of nurses who demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

What to expect on our Enterprise Pool team: Nurses will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. 

Nursing Unit Type/Specialty Areas:

• Critical Care
• Surgical Services
• Medical Surgical
• Procedural
• Women’s Services
• ED
• Behavioral Health

Enterprise Pool 1:

• Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
• 1 facility – preferred location/closest to home
• At least 2 applicable units - Must work in at least 2 applicable units with recent RN experience within unit type/specialty area
• 12 months of experience in unit type/specialty area

Enterprise Pool 2:

• Base rate + $6.75/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
• Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 4 hospitals assigned within that zone.
• Full Time/Part Time: 18 months of experience in unit type/specialty area
• PRN: 24 months of experience in unit type/specialty area

Enterprise Pool 3:

• Flat rate $75.00/hr + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
• Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah)
• For Enterprise Pool Tier 3/Systemwide hires, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Subject to change.
• Full Time/Part Time: 18 months of experience in unit type/specialty area
• PRN: 24 months of experience in unit type/specialty area

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Registered Nurses will need the following:

• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
• Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivated.  For more information visit Colorado Board of Nursing - Compact Licensure
• Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
• BLS from the American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
