 Join our Occupational Therapist team! As an Occupational Therapist you will be is responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. In this position you will utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
  • Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

 

This is a part time and fully benefited acute OT role.   We are looking to fill our Wednesday, Thursday and one more day of the week (TBD).  We rotate weekends with the team.  One weekend every 4 weeks is required.  We do also rotate holiday coverage and you can expect to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday.

St. Francis Hospital features 340-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit.

It also serves as southern Colorado’s home base for the Flight For Life® Colorado air medical transport service.

$32.35 - $55.84 /hour
