The Women’s Center at Holy Cross Hospital - Jordan Valley West is comprised of three departments: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Well Baby. Our Labor and Delivery unit delivers 500 babies annually and has seven rooms, a three-bed triage, and an OR for C-sections. Two of our labor rooms have been turned into natural birthing suites. These rooms have equipment to assist Mothers that would like to deliver their infant without an epidural. After Delivery Mother and Baby are be transferred to our Postpartum/Well baby department. Our hospital encourages couplet care which allows for mothers and infants to stay in the same room. We occasionally have Gyn/Med surg overflow patients.
We have an amazing team that works well together to provide our patients with the best possible birthing experience. Our unit is family oriented, motivated, and passionate about continuing education so we can continue to thrive. Our nurses enjoy having arranged schedules which helps create a great work-life balance.
