As a Radiation Therapist you will:

• Administer individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients.
• Verify treatment parameters and maintains necessary data.
• Evaluate patients daily.

Your day in the life as a Radiation Therapist with us.

• Clinic hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
• No call with this position

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Radiation Therapists will need the following:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years training in an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology
• ARRT registered within 90 days of date of hire
• BLS from the American Heart Association, required

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Mercy Hospital Oncology is an outpatient department with ten patient chairs, where we treat all types of patients; those that are non-insured, under insured and insured. We care for each patient like they are our family and we have an outstanding team of people who come to work every day to care for great patients.
The team has a flexible work schedule, must have the ability to execute a variety of different types of work within a fast-paced environment and wonderful support with a lot of potential for growth. We need team members who are committed to patients, willing to work hard and are compassionate and understanding. It takes a special person to work in oncology and we have a lot of them here.
